Jammu A civilian was killed when a shell exploded accidentally in Akhnoor area of Jammu district, police said here on Saturday.
Ashok Kumar died on the spot when the shell exploded near BSF firing range in Kaleeth area of Akhnoor tehsil, about 30 kms from here, last evening, they said.
The shell exploded when Kumar, who had gone near the BSF range to collect the scrap, picked it up, they said.
