| Puri, Tarigami, Hakeem condemn attack on Qureshi | | |

Jammu Dec 5: Balraj Puri, Convenor PUCL J&K State, has condemned murderous attack on a senior separatist leader Fazal Haq Qureshi.
In a press statement issued today Balraj Puri warns, “Such attacks for even slight political differences would alienate the militants from the people and weaken the separatist movement.”
“As many leaders of the separatist movement have been killed by the militants, it confirms the well known saying that every violent movement starts eating its own children,” he stated.
Meanwhile, CPI(M) State Secretary M.Y Tarigami and President People’s Democratic Forum (PDF) , Hakeem Mohammad Yasin expressed his shock over the brutal attack on APHC(M) leader Fazal-ul- Haq Quereshi.
In a joint statement issued here today, both the leaders while condemning the attack, said, that the Hurryat leader played a great role in bringing the peace process ahead for resolution of Kashmir issue.
Terming the attack as unfortunate, the leaders said that, it is an act to create obstacles in the ongoing peace process. Both the leader paid visit to SKIMS Soura to see the injured Hurriyat leader.
