Katra Dec 5: In continuation of memorandum of Understanding signed between State Forest Research Institute (SFRI) J&K Government, and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, the plantation drive was conducted in the campus to make the varsity more eco-friendly.
Apart from the students among those who participated in the said campaign included Dr. R.D. Tiwari, Director SFRI signed, Dean of Engineering Prof. M.L.Garg, Dean of Sciences Prof. V.Verma, Dean of Humanities & Social Science Prof. R.S.Misra, Dean of Students Prof. S.Chandra , Directors , faculty of various schools and guest from SFRI.
Mrs. Roop Avtar Kour (IFS), Registrar SMVD University, the nodal officer of the project was also present on the occasion.
