| NSF discuss problems confronting students | | | Early Times Report Jammu Dec 6- To discuss the problems confronting the students the National Secular Forum (NSF) today held a day long conference at its head office which was organized by Inder Pal Singh Convenor University Unit. Vikas Sharma President NSF was also present on the occasion. Apart from discussing problems of the student community and the failure of University authorities in redressing their long pending problems, the NSF activist also paid rich tributes to late Sheikh Mohammed Abdullah on his 104th anniversary. Addressing the participants Vikas Sharma lamented VC Jammu University for ignoring the genuine grievances of the students like tampering of marks sheets, rescheduling of papers of a particular college and lack of security in the campus. He said ever since the new VC took over the reigns of the University the problems of the students have increased with no signs of improvement. He said to focus attention of the authorities; the NSF has given a bandh call in the University for tomorrow. He said the Forum has also constituted its unit for Sant Rocha Singh Degree College with Jaspreet Singh as its president, Inderjeet Singh and Gurucharn Singh as Vice-Presidents, Gurpreet Singh as General Secretary, Sanamdeep Singh as organizing secretary and Arun Sharma as Advisor.
