Jammu, Dec 7: Another fasting-unto-death agriculture technocrat's condition got serious this afternoon and he was immediately shifted to hospital by the police.
The protesting technocrat identified as Javed Ahmed, who was on fast- unto-death along with his colleaugues, was shifted to the Government Medical College Hospital by police vehicle. ''This is the second incidence in 24-hours, but the government is paying no attention to our demands. Our agitation will continue and intensify further,'' a leader of All Jammu and Kashmir agriculture technocrats said.
Technocrats are on fast-unto-death after a 20-day strike to press the J&K government to consider their demands, including the regularisation of their services.
One Yakub Khan, was yesterday shifted to hospital after his condition deteriorated during the strike.
