Instead of decongestion the connectivity of proposed bus stands at Manda. Birpur and Paloura with Jammu city will not only put more pressure on the roads but traffic chaos and frequent jams and pollution due to smoke omission from vehicles will become the order of the day the traffic chaos. They said jams at Bikram Chowk should be an eye opener for the advocates of trifurcation and shifting of Bus stand. Deputationists requested the president to impress upon the authorities to implement the decision taken earlier in the meeting chaired by Dr. Farooq Abdullah the then chief minister were it was decided to make the general bus stand as terminal point for hoarding and un-boarding only. To remove idle parking of buses, to develop yards with complete infrastructure for parking and repairing of buses as is being done effectively in our neighbouring states and to develop terrace parking at bus stand.
