| Kids of Mothers Pride visit Gandhi Nagar Post Office | | |

Jammu, Dec 07: The kids of ‘Mother Pride and Joy a pre-school along with staff led by its director Mona today visited centre post office, Gandhi Nagar and made kids acquainted with the working of post office. Mona took this step so that children retain what they learn much better along with learning.
At the post office, Postmaster general along with other staff including postmen gave first hand information about distributing of Dak etc. postman in uniform acquainted the kids as to how they carry the messages of the people through letters from far flung areas for the dear and loved one across the length and breadth of India and even to foreign destinations. The children were also briefed as to how the letters are posted with address and postal stamps and how the postmen remove the posted letters from the letter box, sort them and send the letters to their destinations and how the postman delivers the letters to their address. The kids were thrilled to get a real feel of the letters/post card/ inland and postal stamps and the red post box. The kids also posted letters to their parents to mark the occasion. It was a memorable and an educative field trip for the kids
