| Punjab base narco smuggler arrested | | | Early Times Report

A Punjab based narco smuggler has been arrested by Jajjar Kolti police and recovered 18 kilogram bhuki from his possession.Jajjar Kotli police supervised by SDPO Nagrota Faisal Qureshi and Additional SP Rural Mohan Lal during routine naka checking intercepted a vehicle bearing registration number JK02S 0031 which was coming from Srinagar to Jammu and during checking police recovered 18 kilogram bhuki from the possession of a narco smuggler identified as Gurpreet Singh son of Dev Singh resident of Jallandhar.Police has also arrested the driver of the vehicle identified as Devinder Kapoor. The narco smuggler whose age is 18 years during interrogation infored police that he was smuggling narcotics from Srinagar to Punjab for the quite some time. Pertinent to mention here that Jajjar Kolti police few days ago arrested two Punjab based women narco smugglers and recovered narcotics from their possession.However, police has registered a case against them in this regard and investigating the matter.
