| Delay in PM’s package for KP’s would loose its relevance: Kundan | | |

New Delhi, Dec 7: Addressing party activists’ intellectuate and thinkers of the Kashmiri community Kundan Kashmiri, general secretary and spokesman of Delhi unit of ASKPC stated that Kashmir masses in fail to understand the logic and reason in keeping Kashmir related dialogue with separatists top secret. He said, in a pluristic society following democracy like India, every issue of controversy is to be solved with consultation of majority and nationalist forces, without downgrading the sovereignty of the country. The patriotic Indians like KP’s who are the principle party of this sensitive conflict have necessarily to work as watch dog to see that there no lopsided decision taken by the government at the cost of National interests and should not repeat the mistakes committed in previous times, to form nation to face its negative dividends.
He further stated that secret/ quite talks going on between separatists and centre should not have been top secret at least for KP’s who are basic party of the issue and fact is no solution is possible with out the involvement of KP’s in the said dialogue at all levels.
Criticizing for the duplicity of Hurriyat leadership to say something in Delhi to gain their favour and then on reaching Srinagar take U turn by putting six conditions before kicking off dialogue with centre, clearly indicates that they are not trustworthy and in the fitness of things, such duplicity would not pay any dividend, but will worsen the atmosphere.
He further stated that recent elections in the state of J&K have amply exposed that the Hurriyat is not representative character of Kashmiri masses, hence dialogue only with Hurriyat will not work out at all. Dragging out Hurriyat is dialogue by NCF leadership, itself indicates that NC is negating its capability as well as representative character to deal with the situation.
At the end of meeting Kundan appealed government to implement PM’s package for KP’s after delinking from all conditions, its further delay would loose its relevance and importance.
