| BBIMC holds guest lecture on "Trends in Journalism Writings" | | |

The B B Institute of Mass Communication (BBIMC), Gandhi Nagar today organized a guest lecture on the topic "Modern trends in Journalism Writings" for its first semester students.
Krishan Kumar Badyal, senior correspondent of Hindi daily "Amar Ujala", was the invited speaker, who apprised the students about the different writing styles being used by the contemporary journalists. He also highlighted the contribution been made by the journalism in changing the mindset of society from time to time.
Commenting on the employment avenues in the field of media, he said, "Number of media houses in the State are on constant rise which has given rise to opportunities in the field of journalism provided the students get professional training before entering this arena."
Earlier, Renu Kumari presented the welcome address whereas, Naveen Koul conducted the proceedings and Kamaljeet Singh presented vote of thanks.
