| Mother’s day celebrated at KV Bantalab | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 09: KV Bantalab today observed Mother’s Day under the inspiring patronship of Mrs Usha Shamindra, Principal, KV Bantalab. Teaching faculty, students and ministerial staff was present on this occasion.
The function was inaugurated by Mrs. Sunita Shekhawat member VMC Kendriya Vidyalaya Bantalab, who was also the chief guest of the occasion.
During the proceedings of the programme the tiny tots of the school welcomed the mothers and a song dedicated to the praise of a mother was also presented on this occasion. In a thought provoking skit, importance of cooperation between school and home, for the maximum growth of the child, was highlighted.
Invitees were involved in the competitions of ornament making using rice puffs and best dresser of the day for preparing kids for fancy dress. The invitees (mothers) also presented a colorful dance. Mrs Neelam Thapa was declared the most talented Mother.
The gathering was welcomed by Mrs. Raj Kumari, HM, Primary wing, KV Bantalab, Mrs. Meena Dhar, Coordinator CCA, Primary wing presented vote of thanks.
The programme concluded with an vote of thanks from Principal, KV Bantalab, Mrs. Usha Shamindra who lauded the role of mothers in shaping the destiny of the children. She also urged mothers to keep their individuality intact along with performing of their duties in right direction.
