| Air-service to Kargil- Azad taking up matter with centre | | |
Kargil, October 07 - Interacting with representatives of Imam Khumini Memorial Trust and Islamia School Kargil, Chief Minister Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad said that every effort would be made for initiating air-service between Srinagar and Kargil during winter months and added that the matter would be taken up with concerned authorities and also with Union Civil Aviation Minister.
Responding to the demands put forth by the duo organizations, Mr. Azad said that due consideration would be given to the demands and steps taken to fulfill the feasible ones.
Chief Minister after offering Friday prayers at Kargil Eidgah, also interacted with Masjid committee and heard their development demands patiently. He said government is alive to the requirements of people and provision of basic amenities to them especially those living in far-flung and remote areas have already been made in the development plans. |
