| Tainted cops’ bail plea adjourned for Dec 19 | | Amandeep murder case | | Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 9: The Sessions Court granted time to Special Investigation Team till December 19 for filling supplementary challan against the accused Nago brothers who are allegedly involved in fudging evidence on the much publicized murder of Amandeep Singh. The SIT has already filed objections on the two bail applications of Choudhary Nagar Singh, Rakesh Singh and Choudhary Jagar Singh seeking rejections of the bail applications.
The alleged accused namely S Manohar Singh former SSP Jammu, then SHO Sultan Mirza, Satnam Singh Sub-Inspector then posted in P/S Gandhi Nagar, Sarwar Hussain Bhukhari then Ballistic Expert FSL and constable Raj Singh attached FSL and alleged main accused Jatinder Singh alias Raja son of Choudhary Nagar Singh and Royal Singh were brought from Central Jail Kot-Bhalwal and District Jail Amphalla Jammu to the court under tight security..
While the alleged accused former SSP Manohar Singh Former SHO Sultan Mirza and former SI Satnam Singh were produced in the Court without hand-cuff the other four accused were presented in the Court in hand-cuffs. In the meanwhile, Ballistic Expert Sarwar Hussain Bhukhari, filed an application in which he has prayed before the Court that while other three police officers were exempted from hand-cuffs, he be also exempted from hand-cuff. He also prayed in the application for his medical examination.
Principal Sessions Judge Jammu BL Bhat after hearing Advocate ZA Mughal appearing for the Sarwar Hussain Bukhari directed Superintendent District Jail Amphablla Jammu to get the under trial Sarwar Hussain Bhukhari examined by a specialist at GMC Hospital Jammu and provide prescribed medicines. JNF
