| School building, power generation station inaugurated | | | | Kargil: Chief Minister, Ghulam Nabi Azad inaugurated additional accommodation for government girls higher secondary school here today which has been constructed at a cost of over Rs.1.16 crore under Border Area Development Programme. The 3-storeyed building comprises lecture halls, meeting hall, staff room, non-teaching staff room, laboratory, office, store and other accommodation. Later, Mr. Azad also inaugurated 2/750 KVA diesel power generating station at Kargil costing over Rs.3.82 crore funded by Rural Electrification Corporation. Minister for Health and Medical Education Mr. Mangat Ram Sharma, Minister for School Education Peerzada Mohammad Sayeed, Social Welfare Minister Haji Nissar Ali, Executive Councillors of LAHDC Kargil, legislators Mr Nassarullah and Mr. Ghulam Raza, Deputy Commissioner Kargil besides other senior officers and engineers were present on the occasions. |
