Azad for speeding up work on Chutuk hydel project

Kargil, October 07 – Chief Minister Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad visited Chutuk hydel project and inaugurated a bridge and approach road near here last evening. During his visit to the project in August this year, he had asked NHPC for completing construction of bridge and approach road of the project by ending September. The 44 MW hydel project is slated to be completed by February 2011.
Chief Minister impressed upon the authorities of NHPC to work round the clock keeping in view limited working season in the area so that this prestigious hydel project is completed within the targeted period.
Mr. Azad was accompanied during the visit by Minister for Health and Medical Education Mr. Mangat Ram Sharma, Minister for School Education Peerzada Mohammad Sayeed, Social Welfare Minister Haji Nissar Ali, Chief Executive Councilor LAHDC Kargil Haji Asgar Ali Karbalai, Executive Councilors for Works and Rural Development Mr. Nasser Hussain Munshi and Haji Mohammad Ishaq respectively, legislators Mr. Nassarullah and Mr. Ghulam Raza besides Deputy Commissioner Kargil and other senior officers.
