| Seminar on global warming held at Billawar | | |

Billawar, Dec 10: A seminar on ‘global warming’ was organized by village social welfare and development committee (VSWDC) in the premises of government high secondary school, during here the other day.
Students from various schools took active part in seminar and expressed their views on global warming and its impact on human being. The sub. Divisional magistrate, Billawar AR Inqualabi who was the chief guest distributed the prizes among the students who stood Ist, 2nd and 3rd. The first cash prize Rs 300/- certificate and trophy was awarded to Sonam Dubey of HSS Mahanpur, second prize of Rs 150 to Ashish Sharma of Mahanpur and two third prizes of Rs 100 each were awarded to Ms Zabida Tabassum of HS School, Bilawar and Shivali Sharma of government HSS Drung. Three consolation prizes were also awarded among the students.
