Jammu, Dec 10: The installation ceremony of the idols of the nine Grahs was held at the ‘Prachin Hanuman Mandir near Sabzi Mandi, Moti Bazar, amidst chanting of vedic mantras and other religious rituals here today.
The ceremony commenced with Ganpati Poojan at 7.30a.m. and concluded at 12 noon with puran ahuti, which was followed by the performing of Aartis of lord Hanumanji and nine Grahs.
According to the head priest of this temple, Pt. Dushyant Sharma, as part of the idols installation ceremony, a bhandara will be held in the temple complex on Sunday, December 13, 2009 from 12 noon onwards. All these programmes are being organized by the Prabandhak committee of the temple.
