The Pak-based militant outfit Lashkar-e-Toiba admitted that the trainees were recruited for terror training from the isolated high altitude of green pastures of J&K State in the run up to terrorism and they afterwards got them sneaked to PoK and Pakistan in clandestine terror training camps. To give further impetus, the Taliban were directed and co-ordinated by senior Pak-military officers to follow new strategies to achieve their goal and the Pak-army with its artillery and armoured units jumped close with Taliban with shoulder to shoulder for joint operations. As a consequence of Pak-army’s active involvement, an outcome of the military crisis in Afghanistan had been continued the guerrilla struggle by the northern minorities like Shia, Hhazares, Uzbeks, Israils and Tajiks.
The quick advance of Taliban forces in Afghanistan creating lawlessness, violence and destruction was the serious concern which shook the countries of South and Central Asia that intimidated and their secularism and democracy many not be jeopardized. Keeping in view of this, Russia and other Common Wealth Sovereign States, were under tenable alarmed to Pak-trained and armed militia trying to establish a fanatic rule based on religion, extremism, sectarian and intolerance for unwarranted interference in their domestic affairs. The advancing of Taliban fundamentalists in the Central Republic Countries of the Common Wealth which committed secularism and democratic way of life are, now, at the brink of destruction which accused Pak-nefarious designs of direct military involvement in Taliban offensive movement. In this regard, Tajik Foreign Minister, Talbak Nasarov accused the involvement both Pakistan and Saudi Arabia for direct interference in the affairs of Afghanistan. He produced irrefutable evidence of f Pakistan regular army Units and military personnel from Saudi Arabia fighting closely with Taliban. It was Pak-military intervention in Afghanistan under the label of Taliban and it was a similar double track card which Pak-ISI played in the State of Jammu & Kashmir by invading with mixed force of mercenaries and Pak-regular army disclosed by Wali Mascood, Afghan Ambassador, who told that about three months prior to Kargil intrusion, Pak-ISI, Taliban and Saudi terrorists mastermind of Osama-bin Laden, Al Badar network held a meeting in Kabul to plan simultaneous intensification of
terror onslaught in the Indian side of LoC and offensive in Afghanistan. The pouring in thousands of regular army and extremists mercenaries in to Afghanistan and Kashmir was a classic game of military intervention by the Pak-ISI.
It is very serious that incase the Pak-supported terrorism and the fanatic influence of Taliban are not checked, and then it would engulf the countries of South Asia, especially secular democracy of India. It is quite evident that Pak-supported Taliban extended their control over Afghanistan and recognized its Government along with Saudi Arabia which was a great intrigue to dismember India. The Pak-ISI turned Taliban-held Afghanistan in to a vast training ground for Islamic militants who later on sent to the various parts of India and the world to carry out their terror operations for Islamisation. This development shattered the social fabric of the Afghan nation and ruined politically. Afghanistan under Pak-supported Taliban and Pak-ISI converted it in to the largest training centre of the world as well as sanctuary for the Islamic terrorists. In the mean while the ruling leadership of the USA was adamant to crush the Taliban ruled Afghan Government nursed by Pak-ruling leadership that bombarded US World Centre in cooperation with Al Quaeda. With the result of this, the Pak-ruling leadership under US-guided war against terrorism plan, declared war against Taliban and allowed it to uproot its Government which was supported by it and the new democratic Government under Karzai leadership was formed. In retaliation Taliban regrouped and centralized its power to challenge Pakistan. It has started now three faced terror-operations- re-control over Afghanistan, topple the Pak-Government for which they have captured tribal area and are moving forward to control over it which paralysed Pakistan. It needs serious consideration that on the behest of Pakistan growing Islamic militancy will target India along with other democratic Republics of Central Asia. The increasing influence of Pak-supported Islamic terrorism and power-catching Islamic fanatic war in Afghanistan to destabilize the national and lawful Government are the major source of concern for the Republics of Central Asia, especially India. The Pak-leaders desire to get a foothold in clandestine manner in this region and exert their efforts to woo the leaders and the statesmen of the Republics by using the weapon of religion.. Thus Pakistan is playing a dangerous game. It, with the association of Jamat-e-Islami and Deoband because of having the same nature and ideology as well as long association with Islamic militant organizations of different nationalities and Kashmir, carried intrigue to establish its Islamic hegemony in the whole South and Central Asia by using the weapon of blood-spilling violence and en masse slaughtering. The Central Asian Republics are looking towards India eagerly for co-operation to counter the Pak-Taliban axis terrorism, which is a breeding ground of global terrorism. It is well known to the world that the terrorism is a creation of Pakistan; therefore it is reluctant for harsh treatment with Taliban.
The UNO is also reluctant to use its good offices for any gesture to check Pak-sponsored terrorism which has become a threatening monster for every civilized society. In spite of knowing the Pak-aggressive designs of fomenting Islamic terrorism, it turns blind eye and fails to admonish it to restrain for future. International law allows destroying the source of terrorism and blasting the training centre. It is very strange that the USA did not lead and taken any initiative to inspire any Republic of the world to challenge the terrorism by eliminating the terror infrastructure either sponsored by Al Quaeda, Taliban or Pakistan. It is very ironical that the US is free to hit any republic of the world in the name of terrorism but other republic is discouraged to follow the same measures and advised to restrain for any aggressive steps which is imbalanced diplomacy. In this context, the US advised categorically to India to refrain from exercising a similar option in Kashmir,
while it was well in its sovereign rights and competency to resort for destroying the source of terror training centres and flushing out the proxy war wagers. It was a double standard policy and created a sense of humiliation and inferiority. Ironically, while US vindicated its own offensive against Al Quaeda and Taliban terrorism, on the other opposing India to the usage of same means against Kashmir ultras was unhealthy and lopsided. The US claim to strike the bases of terrorism was genuine for its national interest; on the same level India also had a national responsibility to follow the same adventure to check the Pak-sponsored terrorism by destroying terror infrastructure.
There will not be possible to restore peace and tranquility in the world till Pak-sponsored terrorism is not checked. Pakistan has not used the grant and war materials received from the US against terrorism but that was diverted to its discretion and deceived it totally. The US ruling leadership should go to gauge the gravity of the crooked diplomacy of Pakistan that has betrayed in all respect.
