| Gandhi’s paintings on villages, nomads impress visitors | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 11- K.K. Gandhi’s painting exhibition at Kala Kendra is unique in a sense that it carries an explicit message of journey through life of villages, hills and nomads. His paintings have distinct character of reality and which is blended with imagination and desire to do more. The three dimensional effect and the depth of his subject create real life like objects. There are few artists who are totally self taught and yet develop a great artistic skill through their own talent and perseverance. K.K. Gandhi is one of those rare artists. K.K. Gandhi has exhibited brilliant works of art depicts his divine inspiration, extraordinary mixing of colours and realistic depiction of nature, beauty and culture heritage of our region. The mastery over lighting and perspective is really worth appreciative. The inaugural function of his exhibition had been a real gala event, where the personalities like Dy. Chief Minister, Minister for Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation, Director General of Police, prominent members of Public Service Commission, V.C. JDA, besides, score of other high dignitaries, Commissars of Arts, media persons and the cream of the society were present. Gandhi has dedicated his exhibition to the memory of late Ram Sahai, former President of Chamber of Commerce, a great visionary, a most prominent and respected person who had championed the welfare of human society, communal harmony and the cause of Jammu in general and business fraternity in particular
