| Academy Mushaira holds audience captive | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 11: In a rate gathering a large scale participation of Kashmiri Diaspora in cultural academy’s Kashmiri mushaira, poetic views of Kashmiris reverberated the KL Saigal here today. The secretary academy, Zafar Iqbal Manhas former Director Doordarshan, Farooq Nazki and noted poet Prem Nath Shad were in the presidium. In his welcome address, Manhas said that the state cultural academy would continue to organize such mushairas in future also so that the feelings of the Kashmiri Diaspora could be projected. Promising the poets, particularly the Kashmir Diaspora, the dawn of a new literary era Manhas said that academy would soon move out of select auditoria and would go to the habitations of Kashmiri Diaspora so that the community would be able to demonstrate their talent in a pronounced manner. On the occasion Farooq Nazki applauded the cultural academy for its proliterary activities and hoped that such activities would continue in future also. Those who recited their verses during the mushaira included Durga Nath Santoshi, Prem Nath Premji, Vijay Wali, Moti Lal Masroof, Santosh Prerna, Ayaz Rasool Nazki and Jagan Nath Sagar among myriad others,
