Ramban, Dec 12- Taking serious notice of his non cooperative attitude in attending the court for recording statement in a murder case, state v/s Bhago & others, Principal Sessions Judge Ramban Bala Jyoti has issued non- bailable warrants against Deputy Director FSL Jammu H C Bhagat.
The Sessions Judge observed that intentionally summons were issued but to his absenting from the court bailable warrants of arrest was issued and served on him on December 7. A request was made on his behalf pleading for intimating the next of hearing as was busy in the court of Special Judge Anti corruption Jammu and accordingly December 11 was fixed for recording his statement but the official did not turn up. The Judge further observed that the aforesaid witness is reluctant and not coming forward for making statement in the court. Under such circumstances non bilable warrant is being issued against the Deputy Director.
The Court directed Superintendent of Police to depute a special officer who will personally execute warrant of arrest and fixed the next hearing on December 15, 2009 as per the directions of the High Court for deciding this case during the current month.
