| Coalition govt committed for equitable development all parts of state: MoS Sharma | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT KATHUA, Dec 12: Various problems confronting the people of the district Kathua were highlighted in a Congress workers meeting held at village Masheedi here today. The meeting which was organised by DCC, president and MLC, Subash Gupta was attended by minister of state Dr. Manohar Lal Sharma and former minister PCC vice president Prem Sagar Aziz. Speaking on the occasion Dr. Sharma said that present coalition govt. is committed for equitable development of all parts of the State. The far flung and remote areas will be given priority in development so that the inhabitants of such areas should not feel neglected and backward. He said that there is no problem of funds as the Central government has taken special care of J&K and provided funds for all-round development in the state. Prem Sagar Aziz while addressing stressed for strengthening the Congress party at the grass root level, asked the party workers to enroll maximum people in the Congress party, as the membership drive is in progress. He said that only the Congress party guarantees for peace and progress by following the path of secularism. Subash Gupta speech highlighted the local problems like construction of road from Masheedi to Lohimalar, shortage of rations in the govt. depots and shortage of teachers in the govt. schools. He demanded adequate supply of rations to the govt. depots in Kathua distt. and posting of more teaching staff to the schools in the area.
