| YHAI festival beginning tomorrow | | |

JAMMU, DEC 13: The Youth Hostels Association of India (YHAI) is organizing a series of “Youth Fesitivals” at Dussehra Ground, Gandhi Nagar from December 15.
The purpose of organizing the festivals to attract the youth towards “Nature” through “Camping & Trekking” activities which will make them physically fit mentally aleart and socially useful. The programmes included in the competition is Drawing Competition on two themes viz, “Global Warming” and “Adventure Tourism; Lecture on “Youth, Nature & Environment”; Mono Acting; Folk Song; Folk Dance and Patriotic Songs.
In addition to these competitions, one night camping experience in tents is also organized at the festival sight with camp fire and working sharing.
Minister for State Tourism, Housing & Urban Development Nasir Alam Wani will declare to open the youth festival while Minister for Cooperatives and Higher Education Dr. Manohar Lal will preside over the prize distribution function at the venue.
