| 145 families provided solar lights in Uri | | |
Baramulla, October 07 – Minister for CA&PD Mr. Taj Mohi-u-Din distributed solar lights among 145 families of Dara Gutli, Gawalta and Zamoor Pattan areas of Uri tehsil at a function organized by Science and Technology department.
Speaking on the occasion Minister said that government is determined to provide all basic facilities to the people. He said massive infrastructure across the state occurs at providing relief to the people. He said immediate problems regarding improvement and upgradation of roads and housing facilities-drinking water and medical facilities are being addressed on priority. He said that the progress achieved by the state in various fields would fulfill the aspirations of people. He urged the rural unemployed youth for setting up their income generating units by availing benefits of the schemes initiated by various agencies adding that various financial institutions are providing liberal financial assistance for the purpose. |
