| JYS accuses political parties for surrendering rights of Duggar region | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 14- While welcoming the state government’s initiative of giving stipend to the educated youth of the state, Susheel Pardhan, alias Saadhu, founder and president of the Jammu Yuva Sangh (JYS) said “though we appreciate the step taken by the government but it should not be a closed chapter”. Addressing the young brigade here today the president criticized the leaders and political parties of Jammu for surrendering the rights of people of Duggar region. He also asked the ‘so-called’ Jammu loving parties to stop befooling the people of the region. “Today the people of the region are deprived of basic amenities like water, power and CAPD ration but these corrupt leaders are busy in deals with the government and are selling the due share and rights of our people”, JYS added. To attain due share for the region, he asked Jammu based parties to get united otherwise we will have to bow before these anti-Jammu people for centuries together and added that more than half a century has gone but we are not able to get rid of begging bowl. ‘Youth of Jammu should get ready for sacrifices and stressed the need for awakening the masses about their rights and privileges. ‘Since the acts and policies are absolutely anti-Jammu’, he called upon the Jammuties to get united to fight for their case. Lambasting for ‘quiet diplomacy, he said peace at any cost is paramount in the state but Jammu and Ladakh regions should not be ignored in the peace process.
