| Basic amenities demanded for Barnai village | | |

Jammu, Dec 14: Vice president PCC Thakur Hari Singh has demanded improvement in the basic infrastructure of power development department in order to provide uninterrupted power supply to people. After meeting with the deputation of village Barnai who complained that they are facing great hardships, as electric power remained disrupted almost daily.
The inhabitants of Lane number one Upper Barnai have contributed and erected electric poles but are still waiting for replacement of old wires and poles which often broke and fall on the link road or in the residential area which cause causality to the human lives and cattle besides the electric supply remains disrupted hours together.
In this regard they have approached to the chief engineer PDD and concerned officials at many times, but nothing has been done so far except the assurances. The deputation requested PCC leaders to take up their demand with the concerned for immediate redressal.
