| POLICEMAN KILLED, 2 INJURED IN GRENADE ATTACK | | |
Jammu, October 7: A head constable of Jammu and Kashmir police was killed while two other policemen were injured in a grenade attack by unidentified militants in Ramban police district on Saturday.
According to police, the police party was attacked near Bundakshaw while they were returning to Gool after disbursing salaries at Deda. One head constable Gulzar Hussain died on the spot while two others Duni Chand and Mohd Hussain were critically injured in the grenade attack.
Additional police force was rushed to the spot and search operations were launched to nab the militants, police said. |
