PDP to launch agitation against scarcity of ration

Billawar, Dec 15: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) today asked its workers to expose misdeeds of coalition regime which has failed to solve basic problems of the common masses. Expressing concerns over shortage of supply of ration party leaders threatened to start agitation.
Addressing a public meeting after launching membership drive at Billawar, party general secretary Thakur Balbir Singh said that wrong policies being pursued by the coalition regime contributing in compounding woes of poor people.
He asked party workers to strengthen the party at grass root level to effectively highlight problems of the masses on every platform. Party further exhorted its workers to expose the misdeeds of Congress-National Conference coalition before the people. Senior PDP leader said that during the last 11 months National Conference-Congress coalition regime has failed to solve problems of the masses. He pointed out that instead of solving problems of the masses, this regime has further compounded woes of the people by its wrong policies. Terming employment package announced by the government as fraud and cruel joke with the unemployed youth, PDP general secretary said that coalition regime has not implemented even a single promise despite being the fact that both National Conference and Congress had befooled the masses during assembly elections with promises.
PDP leaders warned the State Government that his party would not remain a mute spectator and would come on streets to expose anti-people policies being propagated by the coalition. He exhorted the party workers to prepare themselves for launching a movement against this anti-poor government
