| 1 dead, 7 injured in road mishaps in Valley | | |

Srinagar Dec 15: One person died and seven others were injured in different road accidents in Kashmir valley, police said.
Police reports said a Tipper bearing registration number JK02J-3919 turned turtle at Kapran, in Anantnag district, resulting in injuries to five passengers boarded in the tipper. All the injured were hospitalized, among the injured Sajad Ahmad Ganie son of Assadullah Ganie resident of Budran succumbed to his injuries at SKIMS Soura. Police has registered a case in this regard.
In another incident a Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK09-1193 on way from Srinagar to Kupwara tuned turtle near Court Complex Pattan, resulting in injuries to two passengers. Both the injured were rushed to SMHS Srinagar for treatment. Police has registered a case in this regard.
Meanwhile a Scooter bearing registration number JK04-2247 driven by Mohammad Shafi Wani son of Abdul Rehman resident of Mazhama Magam was hit by one Sumo bearing registration number JK01G-8517 at Main Chowk Parimpora, resulting in injuries to the scooterist. The injured was rushed to SKIMS Soura for treatment. Police has registered a case in this regard.
