| Mahila Congress holds meeting in Samba | | |

Jammu Dec 15: Mahila Congress Workers held their meeting under the presidentship of senior congress leader Indu Pawar President Mahila J&K PCC to review the political situation and the scheduled panchayat polls.
The meeting organized at Karandi Rakh,Panjtilla in Samba was attended by a large number of women activist wherein they were briefed about the coming Panchayat elections and to avail benefits of various schemes for employment and upliftment of women.
Speaking on the occasion Mrs Pawar impressed upon the workers to work together and understand the Mahila Shakti and asked them to work together in an organised manner with a view to strengthen the party under leadership of Smt Sonia Gandhiji. She assured the workers to readress their problems of drinking water, sanitation, power etc by taking up matter with appropriate authorities of the govt.
