| ‘Say No To Drugs’ | | Bishnah College hosts seminar | | Early Times Report Jammu Dec 15: Government Degree College Bishnah today organised a daylong seminar on the topic, “Stay Alive, Say No To Drugs”, in collaboration with NGO “Nasha Chhadao Chetna Lehar”. Ashwani Sharma MLA Bishnah attended the occasion as the chief guest. In his address he congratulated the faculty of the college for organising seminar on an issue of great importance and stressed to work together earnestly to eradicate the evil of taking drugs and to make the society healthy and drug free. The notable among the speakers were J.P. Singh (IPS) SSP J&K Police, S. Manmeet Singh Chairman Ranjit College of Education, S. Jameet Singh Founder President NCCL J&K. Overall ten papers were presented and poems were also recited on the subject. Govt. Hr. Sec. School (Boys) Bishnah also participated in the seminar. Earlier, Prof. Veena Pandita, Principal of the college gave a welcome to the guests and highlighted the importance of organising such seminars. She emphasised that life is too precious to waste by taking drugs and inviting death before time. She stressed that sleeping less and dreaming more is the mantra of success. Prof. Kiran Pathania presented vote of thanks concluding the programme.
