| ‘Display Your Talent’ | | Rita Sarangal’s ‘Rajani Da Sukhna’ best short story in Dogri | | Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 15: “Rajani Da Sukhna” a short story in dogri language penned down by Rita Sarangal, department of law, university of Jammu, was adjudged as the best short story. While the short story entitled “Waqt Badalta Hai” written by Ripu Bali from MIER College of Education bagged the top honour in Hindi. “Tutde Parviar” a short story written by Inderjeet Kour from the cosmic college of education and “Broken Family” a short story written in English by Ambika Bali from the law school, were adjudged best short stories in Punjabi and English, respectively. In English category Ashima Mahajan from government women college, Parade was awarded the certificate of merit. While the another certificate of merit was awarded to Shivani Bali from Guru Gang Dev Ji college of education for short story writing in Hindi. The inter-collegiate/ departmental story writing competition was conducted earlier by the department of students welfare, university of Jammu under the display your talent” 2009-10 under the supervision of Dr. Parvinder Kour, teacher incharge.
