| Police foil peaceful rally | | On fast unto death, Agro technos get batons | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 12: The peaceful rally taken out by the agriculture technocrats, sitting on fast for the last 12 days near press club was foiled by the police here today. Police did not allow the rally to proceed towards divisional commissioner office, but were lathi-charged miserably near Jewel Chowk.
As per press release protestors were going to submit charter of demands to divisional commissioner to request the chief minister of his promises in regularizing the service of the agri-technocrates working under Rehber-e-Zirat. As per release several technocrats receive serious injuries at various part of the body. The seriously injured were Ved Prakash, Kursheed Ahmed, Anirudh Kumar, Rajeev Sharma, Amit, Vishal, Vinod and Arshad etc.
Surinder Radotra president of Jammu and Bital Ahmed of Kashmir said that such in human attitude of government is highly condemned. Government use force to crush agriculture technocrats rather then given their right for which they were struggling.
