| BJP to hold anti-quiet diplomacy campaign in Rajouri on Dec 27 | | | Early Times Report Rajouri, Dec 17- BJP district office bearers and senior leaders of Rajouri, Poonch and Sunderbani-Nowshera, in a meeting held here today, decided to oppose the move of quiet diplomacy and unanimously resolved that all three districts will hold a conference for educating people over the present scenario. Addressing the meeting State Spokesperson Ramesh Arora said the conference will be organized on December 27 at Sarveshwar Hall, Rajouri at 11 a.m. He said that centre government should take into confidence the people of Jammu and Ladakh also and their problems be properly redressed. He said that BJP is organizing different conventions throughout the state and people from all walks of the life should participate, irrespective of their political affiliations because we have to watch the interests of Jammu. He also suggested that Article 73 & 74 amendment should be extended to J&K state also which gives more powers to panchayats and local bodies. Besides Members of the Municipal Committee Rajouri, senior leader Kuldeep Raj Gupta, state Secretary Vivodh Gupta and District President Yogesh Sharma were also present in the meeting.
