| State women commission organize awareness camp | | |

Jammu, Dec 17: The state women commission organized an awareness camp in collaboration with the NGO “Rathore Education Research (RER) Foundation” at “Apna Ghar”, a short stay home for women and children of district Kargil here today.
Secretary state women commission, Hafiza Muzaffar gave lecture about the rights of women, particularly the role of muslim women in family and society while Prof. Rita Jitendra highlighted the importance of education by which even people belonging to weaker section of society can also reach greater heights of success in life. Dr Sunita Puri made the housemates aware of the importance of hygiene and wellbeing for fighting all sorts of diseases including “Swine Flu”. She said the medicinal value of home grown plants and the less costly items like “Gur” (Jaggery) for continuous maintenance of good health while Raj Sharma explained the importance of discipline in everyday life. Prof. Indira Rathore, chairperson of RER foundation, highlighted the role of the NGO in rendering key services in the fields of educations, health, and social services
