| International Migrants Day observed | | | Early Times Report Kathua , Dec 18: International Migrant Day was organised in the Rajiv Gandhi College of education by a non government organization “International Campaign for Human Rights” (ICFHR) to express the solidarity towards those who have lost their original dwelling places due to political and natural uncertainties. Senior Superintendent of Police, Kathua Garib Dass was Chief Guest and the principal of the Govt Higher Secondary School (Boys) Kathua Santosh Kohli was the special guest on the occasion. Advocate Sushil Gupta along with other speaker expressed their concerns over the mishaps and the deprivation of the migrants from their basic rights and appealed the world community to come forward to protect their rights. They demanded that the Kashmiri migrants, west Pak refugee and others refugees should be given all rights and facilities with special reservation to cover up the huge loss since migration.
