| Milchar Front urges CM to save ‘green gold’ | | |

Jammu Dec 18: State General Secretary J&K Milchar Front Kuldeep Kumar Rao has appealed to Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah and R&B Minister, to instruct the concerned engineers for conducting Survey of Kahara-Jai road beyond Halaran.
The survey of Kahara-Jai road was initially done through villages namely Budhi, Joura Kalan and via lower Shamdlian and Ghuroo to Jai and this survey and alignment was from equidistant from all habitations and will cause least damage to forests but the change in alignment was done by some vested interests to appease some elements
Rao appealed to Chief Minister and concerned minister to personally intervene in the matter so that injustice shall not prevail and funds allotted are not misappropriated and also the loss of forest green gold is avoided.
