| CIVIL SECRETARIAT GETs FACE LIFT AHEAD OF DURBAR MOVE | | | Jammu, October 07 : Following announcement of closing of Durbar move offices in Srinagar on October 27, civil secretariat here in the states winter capital has started witnessing hectic activity as renovation, cleansing work has started as part of annual durdar move exercise.
To begin with, the boundary walls of the secretariat building are already getting ready for a new splash of colours as workers are roped in for routine cleansing operations before whitewash.
Apart from this estate department has also started renovation work across residential buildings including houses of senior bureaucrats, ministers, residential quarters of state government employees and move offices so as to offer stimulating working environment.Security has also been beefed up around residential quarters housing government employees besides govt offices as part of routine exercise to thwart any attempt by militants to disturb peace. |
