| Chamber appeals to revoke suspenion of police official | | |
Jammu,October 7 : President of Chamber of Commerce and Industry Ram Sahai on Saturday appealed to the Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad to revoke suspension order of Inspector Mohd Rafiq Manhas placed under suspension by SSP Jammu in connection with the sensational Chopra family murder case.
Addressing a prèss conference here today, President CCI Ram Sahai told mediamen that he has requested Chief Minister to revoke suspension order of Inspector Mohd Rafiq Manhas highlighting his professional competence and general mood among the residents of the posh colony.
He said Manhas is a competent and professional officer and his suspension order shall be revoked in the interest of justice. Residents felt secure during his tenure in office and he solved several high profile cases and received commendation certificates for solving difficult cases in record time. Apart from this during his tenure quality of general policy has improved and due to his hard work he always commanded respect from the general public. |
