| Banyan Tree Schools celebrates Grand Parents Day | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 19:The Banyan Tree School, Jeevan Nagar today held an impressive function to celebrate Grand Parents Day. The function started with the lighting of traditional lamp by the distinguished grand parent Janak Raj Gupta. It was followed by colourful and fascinating cultural program. Everyone present there enjoyed and sang jingle bells and other Christmas carols with students. The distribution of sweets and gifts by Santa Claus drew a rapturous applause.
Around 800 Grand Parents Dada Dadi/Nana Nani took great interest in participating in various activities and games. The confidence of the students was highly appreciated by audience.
Being a Grand Parent himself the Chief Guest Janak Raj Gupta appreciated this gesture of the school for inviting grand prents and imparting quality education to the students besides encouraging them to take part in the c-curricular activities.
Principal, S. Chauhan thanked the chief guest, other dignitaries and grand parents for gracing the occasion. She congratulated the students and staff of the school for organizing ‘Grand Parents Day’ successfully.
