| Arrangements for Raghunath bazaar Utsav discussed | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 19: Preparations for conducting Raghunath Bazaar festival were discussed in a meeting convened under the chairmanship of Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, Dr Pawan Kotwal here today.
Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Mr M K Dwivedi, Commissioner JMC, Vice Chairman JDA, SSP Jammu, Chief Engineer R&B, Director Tourism, Presidents of Raghunath Bazaar Business Association, Traders Association, Hotel & Lodges Association besides senior officers of civil and police administration and traders were present.
Saying that Raghunath Bazaar Utsav would provide an opportunity to the traders to showcase their best items and relive the Dogra Art and Culture. Dr Kotwal asked the associations to make such arrangements which would prove both entertaining and beneficial for the visitors especially those from outside state. He asserted on providing special added discounts on different items, hotels and lodges which would redouble the enthusiasm. Several other issues pertaining to the celebration of Raghunath Bazaar festival and beautification of Jammu city were also discoursed.
The participants asked to put in their best to make the festival not only a success but also a routine feature in the city of temples.
