Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 19: Deputy Chief Minister, Mr. Tara Chand along with the team of senior officers and engineers of district administration Jammu visited various hilly and remote areas of his home constituency. Mr. Tara Chand heard the public and issued on the spot instructions for redressal of their grievances.
During his extensive tour, Deputy Chief Minister visited Kaleeth, Thandi Choi, Serh, Ghulaba, Thrill, Dori, Dager, Majama, Balli, Nathal, Cortial, Simbli, Kharah, Sajwal, Gajuban, Khora, Dingan, Mansibal and Khor.
Several deputations which met the deputy Chief Minister apprised him about their problems and putforth demands including provision for drinking water, electricity, road connectivity, essential commodities, education, medicare, link roads and other facilities, Mr. Tara Chand gave a patient hearing and assured that their genuine demands would be given priority. He issued necessary instructions to the concerned authorities accompanying him for ensuring portable water to the people of these remote areas.
At Thrill, a remote and hilly area, where the Deputy Chief Minister went on foot, asked R&B authorities to take all measures for providing link road facilities to the village through hillocks from Doori- Dager point to the village. Regarding the demand for opening of primary school under SSA, the Deputy Chief Minister issued instructions to Deputy Chief Education Officer to process the case for opening the same.
