That militant leader is now in Pakistan,” says SSP Poonch, Manmohan Singh. Shah has revealed that he was a close confidante of Subhedar Amjad and Subhedar Shahbid of the ISI who facilitated movements of agents across borders. “They are finding it difficult to cross over so no ISI and militant groups are using valid routes to send their men,” says the SSP.Last month police had arrested a cross LoC bus passenger Tufail, with a satellite phone and Pakistani SIM cards which were allegedly to be handed over to Shah.“The recovery has put us on high alert and our intelligence branch is also on the check,” says IGP AshoK Gupta. Givind details SSP Poonch Manmohan Singh said that it was a good catch and added that police has got specific inputs and more arrests are likely.
