| Bhalla, Sham lay foundation for PHC | | | Early Times Report
Jammu , Dec 20: Raman Bhalla revenue Minister and Sham lal Sharma Health Minister laid foundation stone of primary health centre at Bhour camp Chatha to be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 1.60cr
Both the ministers were greeted by the people with beating of drums and bursting of crackers. Speaking on the occasion Raman Bhalla said that accommodation for doctors will also be constructed so that doctors are available to the local populace round the clock.
He further said that all type of medicines and facilities will be provided at the centre so that people are not compelled to travel distances to get treated at Gandhi nagar Hospital
Meanwhile Sham Lal Sharma said that health is the prime concern of the Government and all necessary steps have been taken to upgrade the existing infrastructure especially in the rural and far-flung areas. He said before ending March, most of the vacant posts of doctors and para-medics will be filled. He said that PSC and SSRB have been requested to complete the selection process on fast-track basis.
