| Pathania demands sub district hospital in Majalta | | | Early Times Report Majalta, Dec 20- R. S. Pathania, a noted lawyer and youth leader, has said that the people of newly created Majalta tehsil are languishing for want of proper healthcare as there is acute shortage of doctors in the existing health centres in the area. He said out of 16 sanctioned posts of doctors only two are presently posted in the area. He said that the health centres are devoid of gynecologist and surgical facilities and also lack the facility of Ex-Ray machine. He has demanded up gradation of P.H.C. Majalta up to the level of a fully-equipped Sub-District Hospita, besides creating 24 hour health facility in the PHC. He said due to increased traffic congestion on the ever-busy Dhar road probability of accidents is greater, as such an accidental hospital equipped with specialized and state-of-art facilities like Ultrasound, X-ray and Blood Bank is desperately required. While addressing a meeting of the locals, Pathania has made a spirited appeal to the Union Health Minister and state Chief Minister for immediately sanctioning Sub-district hospital at Majalta and a fresh Accidental Hospital at Manwal. The meeting was also addressed Sharan Singh, Som Nath, Din Mohammed, Sham Lal, Bikram Singh, Girdhari, Romesh Singh, Amar Nath, Mohan Lal and Shankar Singh.
