| Parents of agri. technocrats express concern over Govt.’ indifferent attitude | | | Early Times Report Kathua, Dec 20- Expressing grave concern over the indifferent attitude of the state government towards the agriculture technocrats, who are on fast unto death for the last couple of days demanding regularization of their services, the parents of the agitating graduates have strongly criticized the police for adopting undemocratic means. Addressing a joint press conference here today Chanchla Devi, Balwan Singh, Lila Ram Sharma, K.D Singh and Rajinder have expressed their serious concern over the undemocratic tendencies of the NC-Cong coalition government led by the chief minister Omar Abdullah. They also criticized the action taken by the police to disperse the technocrats forcefully who are on fast unto death at press club Jammu. They appealed the Chief Minister to personally intervene in the matter so that the genuine demand of the agitating agriculture technocrats is addressed at the earliest. In the meantime district general secretary of Yuva BJP Vidya Sagar also criticized the government for not solving the long pending genuine demand of agriculture technocrats and warned to launch agitation if the demand was not met at the earliest.
