| Dogri’s inclusion in 8th Schedule observed | | | Early Times Report

In connection with Dec 22 to mark the inclusion of Dogri in 8th Schedule of Indian Constitution, the Govt. High School Kundra organised a Dogri poetic symposium which was held under the chairmanship of Shiv Narmoi,a prominent Dogri writer.
Chief Education Officer , Reasi K K Sharma attended the occasion as chief guest while prominent citizens of the area also attended the occasion. Raj Rahi, Abdul Qadir Kundria, Raj Kumar Bhagia, Mohammad Rashid Rai, Raj Kumar Agharia, Avtaar Krishan Soni, Gopal Krishan Komal (Head Master of the Kundra School) presented their verses in Dogri.
Two eminent poets namely Abdul Qadir Kundria R/O Kundra and Mohammad Rashid Rai R/O Jeri-Pandhal tehsil and district Reasi were honored with merit certificates by the President of Trikuta Sahitya Sangam, Katra (Vaishno Devi) J&K Shiv Narmoi.
On this occasion, the students made some dogri food items like ‘Makki de Toode te Sariyan da Saag’ were also given to the guests.
Headmaster of the School, Gopal Krishan Komal presented the vote of thanks to all.
