Jammu, Dec 21: To carry out the work of preventive maintenance of equipment and to replace worn out/ damaged jumpers/ droppers in 33 KV yard and rectification of hot spots in 33 KV yard of 220/132/33 KV Grid Station, Udhampur, the power supply to Udhampur town, army area, Ramnagar and Chenani area shall remain affected on December 23,2009 from 7.00 a.m. to 11.30 a.m.
The PHE, MES installations and other essential loads shall also remain affected during the shut down.
According to Chief Engineer, EM&RE Wing, Jammu, the shut down shall be subject to fair weather conditions.
