| Crushing defeat for J&K, out of Martyr hockey | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Dec 21: Jammu and Kashmir today suffered a crushing 1-6 defeat in the hands of Punjab and Sindh Bank in the ongoing Martyr Memorial Hockey Tournament organised by Punjab Armed Police at Surjeet Singh Hockey Stadium, Jallandhar in Punjab. As per the reports reaching here, the 20-member J&K team, which has at least five outsiders and eight players from Jammu and Kashmir Police, today lost their second consecutive league tie thus making an end to their campaign. Earlier, in the opening tie, Rail Coach Factory (RCF) blanked J&K 4-0 yesterday. The J&K team is accompanied by Vijay Paul Singh and Vijay Vaid as coach and manager respectively.
