| BSF, Pak Rangers hold flag meeting | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 21 Border Security Force has lodged a protest with counterparts Pakistani Rangers over the incidents of firing on International Border at three places in Kathua and Samba districts of Jammu and Kashmir. BSF led by Assistant Commandant R S Rathi registered protests with Pak Rangers led by Deputy Commander Chinab Rangers, Mohmmad Shaheen at a flag meeting held at Bobiya Border Outpost over firing by unidentified persons triggering panic on IB at three Outposts of Bobiya and Londi in Kathua district and Chandma BoP in Samba district yesterday, official sources said. Unidentified persons had opened firing in the air near zeroline on Pakistani side close to Indian Outposts of Kathua and Samba during pre-dawn time, they said adding that panic gripped the area, but BSF troops maintained calm.
